Orthopedic care

Orthopedists are doctors who take care of the entire musculoskeletal system. They diagnose and treat conditions such as sprains, strains, broken bones, arthritis and osteoporosis. Some of the treatments they offer include recommending lifestyle changes, applying casts and performing surgeries, such as ligament repairs or total joint replacements.

Services our orthopedic specialists provide

Our orthopedic program incorporates extensive knowledge and evidence-based care into every step of the process, including diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

Diagnosing orthopedic conditions

We use leading-edge technology to evaluate and diagnose orthopedic conditions. Examples of this technology include arthroscopic diagnostics, a minimally invasive technique that allows your surgeon to see the inside of a joint through the lens of a small camera.

Orthopedic treatments we offer

We prioritize leading-edge technologies in our care practices, including using 3D navigation, real-time imaging and minimally invasive surgical techniques to achieve greater precision and spend less time in surgery. Adopting these technologies and techniques translates to more potential benefits for you, including quicker recoveries and shorter hospital stays.

Treatment methods we use include:

  • Arthroscopic surgeries
  • Knee, hip and shoulder arthroplasty
  • Spine laminectomy and fusion
  • Sports medicine procedures

After surgery, you will get transferred to our acute inpatient rehabilitation program. This program provides intensive and focused rehabilitation therapy, with the goal of reaching a greater level of function, so you can take care of yourself at home. Depending on your current level of health, and the coordination of your postoperative care plan, rehabilitation therapy can, in some instances of hip or knee surgery, begin on the same day as your procedure.

We offer rehabilitation options at either one of our hospital units, as well as our specialized freestanding facilities.
