Las Palmas Del Sol HealthCare Help Center
Volunteer program
At Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare, volunteers are an important part of our “We Show Up” commitment to patients, families and the El Paso community. From welcoming visitors to supporting hospital teams, volunteers help create a positive experience across our facilities every day.
Del Sol Medical Center
Volunteering at Del Sol Medical Center is a rewarding way to meet new people, gain experience and give back to the community.
Volunteer opportunities are currently available for individuals 16 years of age or older in the Del Sol Medical Center Gift Shop. Volunteers support daily gift shop operations while helping create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Gift shop proceeds also help fund scholarships for students pursuing careers in nursing and medical fields.
Volunteers must complete an application and background check, and attend hospital orientation.

Las Palmas Medical Center
At Las Palmas Medical Center, volunteers support patients, visitors and colleagues throughout the hospital while helping create a welcoming and compassionate environment.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Make preoperative and postoperative visits to patients and their loved ones
- Assist colleagues with various duties
- Accompany patients and visitors throughout hospital
- Greet visitors and answer questions
- Answer phones and provide directions
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, complete an application and background check, and attend hospital orientation.
