At the Las Palmas Medical Center Women’s Center and Del Sol Medical Center Women’s Center, we offer a variety of essential labor and delivery services, including:

Labor and delivery suites
In our spacious private suites, you can welcome your baby and spend quality time getting to know each other. These rooms offer exceptional views and additional space for family members to stay overnight.
Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Some babies need special care after birth, either because they're born prematurely or with a serious medical condition. The Level III NICU at Del Sol Medical Center offers spacious, private rooms where you and your family can spend time alone with your baby. If you give birth to twins, we also have double-occupancy rooms to accommodate your family's needs.
In the NICU, we support kangaroo care — also known as skin-to-skin contact — as well as delayed bathing. Our use of these methods is meant to help you bond with your baby and encourage successful breastfeeding.

For your convenience, we have labor and delivery facilities located in both East and West El Paso.
Del Sol Medical Center Women’s Center - East location
At our eastern location, we offer an entire floor dedicated to women's care, including labor and delivery services, postpartum, antepartum and NICU support. Our services include:
- 24/7 neonatologist and certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA)
- Lactation support
- Real-time video of your baby in the NICU from home

Las Palmas Medical Center Women’s Center - West location
Located on the west side of El Paso, our 90,000 square-foot facility is completely dedicated to supporting you and your newborn by providing services that include:
- 24/7 neonatologist
- In-house obstetrician-gynecologist (OB/GYN)
- On-site anesthesiologist
- Rooftop helipad
This location also includes The Lactation Center at Las Palmas, which connects you to a readily available lactation consultant who is committed to meeting your unique breastfeeding needs.
