Women have their own special healthcare needs, and Women’ Services at Las Palmas Medical Center offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment programs just for women in a warm, friendly environment. The nurses on the Women's Surgical Unit at Las Palmas Medical Center are specially trained to work with women who are dealing with cancer and other oncology related issues.

The Green House Library

The Women's Surgical Unit also houses the Green House Library, a program of the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation and is named in honor of late el Paso Community Leader, Leighton Green. The Green House Library offers access to the most comprehensive information available on cancer and other related health issues.
