4th Annual Limb Salvage Conference

About the Conference

Limb Salvage is a path to healing guided by a multidisciplinary team with many different diagnostic and interventional skills. This one day conference will allow physicians of all specialties, nurses, physical therapists and other allied health professions to hear the latest evidenced-based guidelines for the multidisciplinary approach. Presentations and discussions will include the roles of team members, Wound Care, Hyperbaric Medicine (HBO), Vascular and Endovascular Interventions, and Podiatry. Also included are three hands-on, non-CME workshops where participants can learn skills and techniques that will be valuable in their daily practice.

At the conference, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Compare the indications for different treatment approaches
  • Learn about the most current evidence-based treatment
  • Make appropriate referrals
  • Apply these measures for improved outcomes in patients with various issues of the lower limbs, including diabetes, circulatory problems, complex wounds and limited mobility.
Many physicians and health professionals have patients who are facing these lower extremity problems on a daily and ongoing basis, and Las Palmas Medical Center is committed to bring the best in limb salvage information to the practitioners in the El Paso region.
