Del Sol Medical Center has been dedicated to the health of the East El Paso Community for more than 30 years, providing comprehensive services to include Cardiology, Bariatric Surgery, Diabetes Treatment, and Inpatient Rehabilitation. Del Sol is one of only ten hospitals in the nation to be a recipient of the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Grant "Expecting Success: Excellence in Cardiac Care." The Medical Center also meets and exceeds the 12 criteria of providing the highest standards of patient care and nurse job satisfaction and retention, which makes it the first and only hospital in El Paso to be Nurse-Friendly™ Designated. Del Sol is the home of the region’s first Center of Excellence program in Diabetes Education. In the area of Cardiology, Del Sol has the area’s only Heart Failure Center and was the first hospital in the area to become an accredited Chest Pain Center.
